fleecy opossum

I made this little lady from pattern to ears. (It turns out, opossum stuffed animal sewing patterns are not easily available online, although I did see some knitted ones.) I took the general belly and body pattern from the squirrel, changing the head color and shape, adding a pink nose, updating the ears, and of course changing the tail from a fluffy squirrel tail to a prehensile (pipe cleaner) pink one. Also, I added a tiny pouch, which is how we know this is a lady opossum. Since this possum is for an adult, I got to use buttons for eyes (when a stuffed animal is a baby gift I avoid buttons since they could be a choking hazard.)
